Private Land Pronghorn Antelope
We hunt these prairie speedsters in the “boot-heel” region of New Mexico. A very limited number of landowner permits are available for this large ranch. Antelope permits are secured through landowner authorization and are included in the hunt price.
Horn growth is greatly influenced by rainfall and hunters should expect to take a Pronghorn in the 15 inch range. Success has been 100% for the last several seasons. These are 1X1 hunts and your accommodations will be in a bunkhouse.

Javelina
Javelina or Collared Peccary are indigenous to the Southwest and can only be found in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and northern Mexico. Average weights are 30 to 50 pounds.
We hunt on private land and your accommodations will be a bunkhouse. Success has been 100% for the last several years. You can hunt with any weapon of your choice and our hunting method is spot and stalk. You can combine this hunt with a mountain lion hunt in February.
You do have to apply to the state for a javelina license. This is a fairly easy license to draw. You can apply through the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish website www.wildlife.state.nm.us. The deadline for applying is MARCH 20, 2024.

Quail and Dove
Our bird populations are thriving and offer excellent opportunities for the serious bird hunter. Three species of quail are available on our private ranches: Gambels, Scaled, and Mearns. These coveys can be hunted with or without the use of dogs. If you do use dogs to hunt, this is an excellent opportunity to train and refine their skills.
Our quail and dove hunts are self-guided hunts with lodging and meals included in price. These hunts are on a private ranch in southwest New Mexico.
